- No donor — individual, whale, or company — gets any say over our curriculum, our translations, or the positions our educators take. Independence of the education is non-negotiable.
- 2. No earmarking
- Gifts fund the mission, not a donor’s agenda. We do not accept money tied to promoting a product, a company, a coin, or a point of view.
- 3. Recognition, never endorsement
- A name or a logo on this site is our thanks — not a partnership, not an endorsement, and not a claim that we recommend anyone’s products or services.
- 4. We can say no
- We decline gifts that come with strings, and gifts from sources that would compromise our impartiality or our mission. Accepting a gift is always our choice.
- 5. A broad base by design
- We deliberately keep no single donor — and the corporate supporters as a whole — from becoming the majority of our funding. A movement funded by many can’t be captured or shut down by a few.
- 6. Transparency and privacy
- What we raise, we hold and spend in Bitcoin — watchable on our public impact dashboard. And donors may give entirely anonymously; we protect donor identity and never sell or share it.
